Your data is naturally confidential and therefore protected according to rules of conduct in line with Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Code regarding the protection of personal data). We appreciate your trust in us when you use our site and we want to assure you that your data is treated with the utmost care and kept safe and secure at all times.

 

DIGILIGHT considers the personal information received from subscribing to the newsletter, and from participating in contests and offers, as strictly confidential. We will never give or sell your address, name or any other personal information to any third party. Collecting your personal data is a way for us to modify our site, our online shop and the information we offer you, adapting them to your preferences to guarantee you an always positive experience. Your information and preferences are vital to the success of this process and are used for this purpose only. Like many other sites, we also collect non-personal information about our guests, such as the pages previously viewed and the type of browser used; such information is used only for statistical purposes and cannot be linked to a particular individual.

 

Sometimes we will refer you to third party sites, which are not part of DIGILIGHT; in that case we cannot guarantee that the data you provide to those sites will be secure.

 

For any questions regarding the processing of personal data, please contact us by email. Finally DIGILIGHT will not use your information for other commercial purposes, except to keep you updated on our services, new discounts and promotions.

RETURNS POLICY 

General informations

 

 

Exclusion from the right of withdrawal and guarantee

 

Are excluded from the right of withdrawal:

- products that have been modified or customized by DIGILIGHT based on specific customer requests

- cables cut to size

- software whose seal has been tampered with

 

It is your responsibility to take care of the product and carry out the correct installation. If, for example, an expensive controller shows clear signs of wear, it cannot be replaced. If, for example, a led strip is damaged/burned due to an incorrect installation method, they cannot be replaced. 

 

Also excluded from the guarantee are:

 

- products that are damaged due to improper use

non-durable consumer goods, covered only by legal guarantee

 

- products that have been damaged during transport to DIGILIGHT due to inadequate packaging

 

- products with damage caused by water or humidity

- products with broken screens and/or displays

 

 

Return conditions / product status

 

The following conditions apply to the return of the products:

 

We advise you to send the product you intend to return inside the original packaging and to close the package carefully to avoid damage to the product during transport. An example of suitable packaging is the original DIGILIGHT box in which we shipped the product to you. Do not write or paste any stickers on the original package.

If you return the product because it is not what you ordered, it must be in excellent condition. The packaging cannot be damaged or missing and the product must not have any marks or scratches, since even just one of these elements could lead to a loss in value of the product, to the detriment of DIGILIGHT.

 

Please fill in the appropriate form and insert it in the package. You can request the form to be filled in by request via e-mail.

We remind you that we cannot send a replacement product or issue a refund before we have received and processed your return.

REFUNDS

Reimbursement of the amount paid We will inform you by e-mail of receipt of your return and that our after-sales service department has taken charge of the file.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The basis of the right of withdrawal (DL 206/2005)

Every consumer has a series of rights, and one of these is the right of withdrawal, i.e. the right to return a product purchased on any website within a certain period of time.

Right of withdrawal: an explanation

As an online store, DIGILIGHT must inform you of the existence of the right of withdrawal and the conditions associated with it. We would like to remind you below of the rules by which we operate:

Up until 13 June 2014, consumers could return a product within just 7 days of delivery. This amount of time had to be sufficient for the customer to test the product and decide whether to keep it or return it. However, since 13 June 2014, the withdrawal deadline has become 14 days.

Consumers usually have to pay to return a product

However, we reserve the right to wait before making the refund until we have received the product in question.

 

 

Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

 

Some of the products sold by DIGILIGHT are excluded from the right of withdrawal. These products also include:

 

- Products modified according to specific instructions from the customer (custom work). An example is cables sold by the meter, assembled especially for you or whose poles have been assigned in a different way than the traditional one. Another example is custom-made flight cases.

 

- Easy to reproduce products whose seals have been tampered with, such as DVDs and CDs, but also software or hardware packages sold together with software licenses (for example Madrix or Resolume). Exceptions include software that uses a physical license, such as a dongle. Packages with a one-time use license cannot be returned if the seal has been broken.

 

+ Important conditions regarding the right of withdrawal

DIGILIGHT will check the returned product thoroughly and, based on the inspection results, will credit the full amount, provided that the product is still new or has only been opened for control reasons (this does not apply to products excluded from the right of withdrawal) . It is imperative that the product is returned complete with all original accessories (manuals, cables, general and warranty documents, brackets and stands), basically everything you found in the box. To be sure that we will receive the product in the same condition in which we sent it to you, we advise you to keep the original packaging until you are sure you want to keep the product. Indeed, the original packaging is specially designed for the product and therefore will reduce the risk of damage during transport. DIGILIGHT is required to reimburse you only if the product is returned in excellent condition and complete with all accessories, during the trial period. However, if the product should report damage due to negligence or improper use, DIGILIGHT may apply a penalty for the damage, which will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed. To avoid disputes, we therefore advise you to keep the original packaging for the entire trial period of the purchased product. We also remind you that products that have been visibly subjected to intensive use or installed cannot be replaced. In some cases DIGILIGHT will accept the return but will apply a penalty for the damage and therefore will not refund you the full amount. If our after-sales service department should come to the conclusion that the product has been used too intensively or shows clear signs of a use other than that of the simple test, DIGILIGHT may decide to apply a penalty for the damage, which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. If you decide to keep the product instead of receiving a refund, we will ship it back to you.

GUARANTEE

What is a guarantee?

 

Warranty terms: If the product you purchased is defective, it is good to know what type of warranty you are entitled to. In the case of a non-durable consumer good, the guarantee will no longer be valid if the product presents a defect due to incorrect/excessive use. Manufacturing defects are covered by warranty. The guarantees do not exclude any statutory right of the consumer and any right of the consumer against the reseller deriving from the relative sale/purchase contract. The legal guarantee is applied to a product that does not meet the reasonable expectations of the consumer. As this varies from product to product, there is no single description of the criteria. 

 

All purchased products have a 1 year warranty. Operation repair or replacement product under warranty: 

 

1) Return the product to our warehouse or send it back, this is the only operation at the customer's expense.

2) The product will be examined by our. technicians and repaired or replaced if the situation required it. this operation will be carried out in a very short time, generally a few days. The repaired or replaced product is shipped to the customer. This shipment will be made at the expense of DIGILIGHT. 

 

4) Before sending a product for repair, please make sure that it is really defective. If the product is found to be in perfect working order, it will be returned at the expense of the customer, who will also have to pay the costs for examining the appliance. 

 

5) In cases where it is not possible to apply the guarantee, the cost estimate will be communicated to the customer before carrying out the repair. The cases in which it is usually not possible to apply the guarantee are exceeding the 1 year limit from the sale of the product, burnt out light bulbs, broken LED strips/controllers/PCs due to incorrect installation and damages caused by inappropriate use of the products._cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

 

Defective products covered by warranty (consumer durables)

If your product turns out to be defective and is still covered by warranty, please keep the following points in mind:

We advise you to ship the product inside the original packaging and to close the package carefully to avoid possible damage during transport. An example of suitable packaging is the original DIGILIGHT box in which the item was delivered to you. Do not write anything or apply any stickers on the original packaging.

 

If no defect is found, a €50 diagnostic service fee will be charged to each product returned to DIGILIGHT for repair during the warranty period.

If a repair is required (not due to a manufacturing defect) and if you agree with the estimate, the €50 diagnostic fee will not apply and you will only have to pay the cost of the repair.

If, again in the case of a repair not due to a manufacturing defect, you do not agree with the estimate and with the repair of the product, you will still have to pay the inspection fee of €50.

Returns in general

 

The delivered product does not correspond to the one ordered

 

If the delivered product does not correspond to the one you ordered, contact us by mail and send it back. As soon as we receive the code to track the package en route, we will send you the correct product or products.

 

The product is damaged upon delivery

 

If you receive a package that has obviously been damaged in transit, you can refuse it. If you decide to accept it and discover after opening it that the product was indeed damaged in transit, you can return it to us free of charge. Simply email us and you will receive a returns form and shipping label. As soon as we receive the code to track the package en route, we will send you the correct product or products.
